Waste Spreading

In the next few weeks many farmers on the marsh including land either side of the village will be spreading treated waste cake.

This product used to be dumped in landfill or at sea but it contains high levels of useful nutrients which are a natural replacement for artificial fertilisers and is quite safe.

Inevitably, with unfavourable winds, the spreading of this material can produce unpleasant odours which soon disappear with swift incorporation.  Due to the quantity that has to be spread in the region and weather conditions it is not possible to say exactly when the spreading will take place.

Your two local Newchurch farms would like to apologise in advance for any temporary inconvenience cause by the spreading operations.
