The Parish Council meets once a month, uisually on the first Monday of each month.

Older residents in Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh are being urged to check if they can apply for Pension Credit to boost their income.
Families and friends can help by checking with relatives and helping with applications. Folkestone & Hythe District Council’s welfare team has also been talking with those known to them who may be eligible.
The deadline to apply for Pension Credit and be able to receive the Winter Fuel Payment is 21 December 2024.
More information can be found on the government website or by calling the national Pension Credit helpline on 0800 99 1234. A friend or family member may ring on a pensioner’s behalf.
As as result of Benefice wide changes services will be held in Newchurch from April on the 2nd Sunday of each month (generally Communion at 9am) And 4th Sunday of each month (generally Sunday Morning Worship at 9am)
Each 3rd and 5th Sunday there will be Benefice Joint Services at 10.30am...NOT in Newchurch.

In response to the number of detections of Avian influenza in kept and wild birds, gathering of poultry (including ducks, geese, swans, pheasants, partridge, quail, chickens, turkeys and guinea fowl), will be banned in England, Scotland, Wales from noon on Monday 10 February 2025.
