Newchurch Village Harvest Supper is in church on Saturday 30th September at 6:00 for 6:30. Please contact Diana on 01303 311779 by Saturday 23rd to reserve your chairs and enable our cooks to buy and prepare their variety of home made hot main meals including vegetarian option, and pudding. Our Harvest Service will follow on Sunday 1st October.

We are planning to continue our Remembrance Sunday service pattern of open-air worship at the Air Force Memorial by the Village Crossroads - more information next month.
On Saturday 2nd December we will be holding our Christmas fair with loads of relevant stalls in addition to the final coffee morning of the year from 10:30 to 12:30. Again contact Diana on 01303 311779 if you would like to join us to sell your gifts or produce.
And we already have an organist practising for our 5pm Christmas Eve Carol Service! Children friendly with both mulled wine and soft drink afterwards.

The Kent Resilience Forum ensures a co-ordinated response to emergencies that could have a significant impact on communities in Kent.
9th September - Kent Ride and Stride, raising funds for all Kent churches. Could you join to help by visiting lots of churches after getting sponsors? We will be serving refreshments all day from 10.00am to 6.00pm (extended cake opportunities) and a ploughman's lunch until we run out of food!

Plans have been announced to lift the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone houseing measures for poultry and captive birdsin England and Wales from 00:01 on Tuesday 18 April 2023. However, the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone mandatory biosecurity measures will remain in place for all birds. If you intend to allow your birds outside after 18 April you must take action now to prepare the outside areas, please check the information available Here.
