At 5pm exactly, RAF Falcons Parachute team dropped out of their Dornier and landed next to the Memorial. Parachutes collected, they formed up to give the salute to the ranking officer present, W/Co Fleckney. They stayed afterwards for photos and to talk with guests.

There is always a Falcon looking after the dropzone to make sure it is safe for them to land

Once landed they take of their kit and smokes and check that their parachute is flat, and put their berets on and run to take the salute
