Newchurch – St Peter & St Paul Survey Results

A big thanks for the return of over 15% of the 130+ surveys delivered to all addresses in the Parish in September.

Coming from these, we held a successful Country Market on Saturday 2nd December – and intend to continue quarterly; with the next on Saturday 7th April then probably on 1st Saturday of the months of July and October to match the usual Coffee Mornings in church.

Do contact us to add your local produce or crafts for sale at these events.

The second part of the survey was to gather information on other activities which might be supported in the church. Whilst most of the possible suggestions – and some others – were of interest to 1 or 2 respondents (only), the top 2 activities of interest to several folk were “knit & chat” and Community Singing.

“Knit & Chat” should be relatively simple to arrange  - so please let us know which days / times might be best (or impossible!) for you to join in - initially once a month in Church starting probably in March.

Community Singing – looks to be very popular in many other localities and could work here as well …. BUT we need a Leader (or 2) to guide us!! So again please let us know if you might be interested in joining in and when ….. and whether you could (or can cajole someone else!!) help to lead the sessions?

For input on these and anything else –
