Newchurch Parish Council is currently (Winter 2020) abiding by advice from the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) not to hold physical meetings or 'gatherings', because of the risk of transmission of COVID-19 coronavirus.
It is arranging hybrid/remote meetings using the technology of 'Zoom' software on an 'as-needed' basis.
The next Ordinary Meeting of Newchurch Parish Council will take place at 7.30pm on the evening of Monday 4th January, unless otherwise advised:

Members of the public wishing to observe remote meetings, under the Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 (as amended), may contact the Clerk via the Contact Form on the website or email pcclerk@newchurchvillage.org for the joining details.
Please do so before 6.30pm on the day of the meeting, and ensure your device is able to use the Zoom software, including a username.
Annual Parish Meeting & Annual Parish Council Meeting
Due to Coronavirus COVID-19 restrictions, these two Meetings for 2020 have now been postponed . An update will be published when UK Government emergency restrictions on public meetings are lifted, or the Council is able to arrange a remote / virtual public meeting under the existing Regulations. In law, the deferral of the Annual Meetings may be up till May 2021. Please see elsewhere on this webpage and website for Council information which is in the public domain (Note added by Parish Clerk, 29.4.2020, updated 13.7.2020)
