New Councillor wanted

Please click on this link to the Notice of a Casual Vacancy. If you'd like to contribute to Newchurch Parish Council's decision-making, and feel you can represent your community, please do get in touch. The Clerk and the Chairman can both give an outline of the duties of a Councillor.

The timescale for applications is mid-June, with a new Councillor to be elected or co-opted by October/November 2021.

2021 Meetings 

Newchurch Parish Council is currently (Spring/Summer 2021) abiding by advice from the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) regarding the return to 'in-person and in-public' meetings under the changing COVID-19 restrictions.

It is arranging meetings under the applicable restrictions. Members of the public are welcome to attend on a first-come, first-seated basis, because hygiene precautions at the venue may place a limit on the numbers who can be physically present at the meeting. Attendees are also advised that personal data may be required and disclosed under the Test and Trace regime.
